Film-Ocean are looking to recruit the following skills:

ROV Supervisors

Primarily an offshore role supporting worldwide offshore projects on a fixed term day rate contract. Maybe required to work in base on occasions. Must hold relevant certification for the position either MTCS or IMCA or equivalent. Minimum 5 years’ experience within the role.  Preferred experience on FPSO surveys.

  • To manage all ROV personnel, ensuring continuity of services in accordance with the company’s QHS&E policy and objectives, conducting Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and arranging crew tool box talks & safety meetings.
  • Overall responsibility for the offshore operation, maintenance and repair of the ROV and ancillary equipment.
  • Reporting accidents, incidents and near misses to the QHSE and Operations Managers.
  • Liaison with offshore client representatives.
  • Creation and transmission of daily and weekly reports including daily logs, personnel/system timesheets, weekly safety/ROV reports.
  • Responsible for stocktaking and inventory control of the system, spares and consumables.
  • Offshore project documentation including record keeping.
  • Ensuring that the preventative maintenance service (PMS) manual and Technical Logs are kept up to date.

ROV Sub Engineers

Primarily an offshore role supporting worldwide offshore projects on a fixed term day rate contract.  Maybe required to work in base on occasions. Must hold relevant certification for the position either MTCS or IMCA. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the role.  Preferred experience on FPSO surveys.

  • To ensure that all ROV operations under his/her control are discharged to ensure that all personnel under his/her supervision perform their tasks safely and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures and Film-Ocean QHS&E Policy and Objectives.
  • To deputise for the ROV Supervisor as and when directed by Film-Ocean constraints, eg Shift Supervisor in the event of 24 hour operations.
  • Updating of the preventative maintenance service (PMS) manual.
  • Stocktaking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables.
  • Completion of system and project paperwork (eg inventory, weekly ROV/safety reports, dive logs, video logs etc) under the direction of the Supervisor.
  • Attendance at, and when nominated, chairing tool box talks and weekly safety meetings.
  • To conduct ROV and systems offshore maintenance in compliance with Film-Ocean schedules.

ROV Pilot Technicians

Primarily an offshore role supporting worldwide offshore projects on a fixed term day rate contract.  Maybe required to work in base on occasions. Must hold relevant certification for the position either MTCS or IMCA. Minimum 2 years’ experience within the role.  Preferred experience on FPSO surveys.

  • To perform ROV operations as instructed and in accordance with approved procedures and Film-Ocean QHS&E Policy and Objectives.
  • Updating of the preventative maintenance service (PMS) manual.
  • Stocktaking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables.
  • Completion of system and project paperwork (eg inventory, weekly ROV/safety reports, dive logs, video logs etc) under the direction of the Supervisor or Sub Engineer.
  • To conduct ROV systems offshore maintenance in compliance with Film-Ocean offshore schedules.
